"Loved our stay here, celebrating our 53rd wedding anniversary. The solitude and lovelysurroundings were so relaxing & peaceful! It was extremely hot (no fault of the owners on that score of course), so couldn't enjoy the beautiful trails much this time, but we'll be back!, The cottage is very clean, very private, and had about all of the kitchen equipment you could need. I'm on a Keto diet at the moment, so we did most of our cooking there, and had what we needed. Beds were comfortable, and all a small family would have need of.We totally recommend this location!We personally enjoyed South Shore Park of lake Bastrop more than North Park.We had a great time!"

"Everything was great! If you want to take a walk and see all the decorations. But sometimes you had to travel by UTV to see the rest of 20 acres a lot to see. Fishing is as great I caught 2 good size catfish and two that got away because my line broke. Very nice place to see. The only downsize was the upstairs bedroom had no door to close off the noise from the living room. Also no tv upstairs bedroom you had a dvd player with no dvd."

"Nice place and friendly staff. Convenient location to the downtown area and local restaurants---all very walkable. We stayed in the "Potting Shed". Not what I was initially expecting....because it really was a "potting shed" at one time! Nonetheless, the decor was pretty darn cute and the bed was great. Super nice staff at their onsite restaurant for guests. Will return for a future visit."
