"We spent the weekend at SRR. Im in love with this place! Now its no 5 star resort. This a rustic place the cabin are older. Its liking taking a step back in time. Which part why I loved it so much. We were in the a frame. The stairs were rough because im handicap but I prepared and knew they would be rough for me. Preparation was worth it because the view and the porch were pure heaven. The cabin was a little dated, some weak spots and unlevel floors, but was able to move around. The kids loved the loft. We made sure they were safe on the stair/ladder going up. Convict springs was literally right out the front door across a small field. The spring was beautiful. The kids swam so much the were sore the next day. The family is a little small but we had fun. The staff were so nice! The highlight of everything was meeting Pinky one their beautiful pigeons!!!! The birding here is top notch especially one the river. We saw 3 red shoulder hawks and heard numerous great horned owls. Also the gulf sturgeon jumping is so cool! We will be back! I want to canoe and fish next time!!!"

"Exquisite! From the first communication to the last, to the wonderful touch with birthday chocolates and balloon waiting, our host could not have been better.Everything is meticulously appointed, the smallest of details, immaculately, clean home and surrounding area and all the amenities (ping pong, cornhole, gas and charcoal grill, hammock and river viewing deck….This place lets you completely disconnect in the woods, no one around, yet you can reach all of the local hotspots: Itchetucknee Springs park, and tubing, Big Shoals state, park, and kayaking/canoeing, etc.This was a recharge. An opportunity to listen to the river and the Woods, and we left more refreshed and wanting to return again and again, and we will!!"
