"This was the perfect place for our family vacation (5 adults 2 kids). The house was great (comfortable beds, great AC, stocked kitchen), but the property and location was really the best part. "Great location walking out onto the beach front with dining, shopping & groceries in both directions. You are on the heart of the main street so everything in the area is walkable. I felt incredibly safe and we had the best beach views. The owner is lovely & friendly, speaking great English which was helpful! Room was a very generous size however we had a power outage both days (not the propertys fault, the entire street was out). Highly reccomend, very satisfied!! "

"Stayed 3 nights at the Blue Bahia and it was a good stay about which we really have no complaints. Pre-stay communication was excellent. Our driver was at the airport waiting for us and took us to Eldon's as arranged - super-nice guy. The way it worked out, we stayed 2 nights in the Sunset View 2 and 1 in the Sea View. Sunset View is a nice unit over the bar & grill - great deck and view of the water and convenient to the beach and to dine. The only real issue with that room is that the AC is in...

A Great place to stay

"I love the peacefulness of this hotel, the staff is very friendly and very helpful. Even though it’s not a beach front property, they do provide transportation and access to a near by private island (Big French Key). There are multiple swimming pools. They have a couple of restaurants so no worries about where to eat early in the morning or late at night as one of them is a sports bar which by the way, has live music some days of the week. There’s also a supermarket very close to it so if you stay at one of the suites, you can stock the full size fridge with goodies ;-). Thanks to Alison and Eldon at the front desk because as always they are very friendly and knowledgeable."
