Andy and Lisa greeted us on arrival, showed us around and made it clear that they were always available if we needed something. Beds and chairs all very comfortable. "The gite provided the perfect setting and lodging for our 8 day holiday. The hosts, Elodie and Jerome, have finished the property to an exceptionally high standard, and the property is equipped with everything required for a truly home-from-home experience. The covered outside accommodation allows the space to be enjoyed all-year-round. The gite has the benefit of being located close to Limoges Airport (15 minute drive) and local amenities (5-10 minute drive), yet is set amongst rolling countryside. The gite provided our family with wonderful memories of summer 2025, and our children have already asked when we can return. Thank you Elodie and Jerome!"

"We had a fabulous 2 week stay at La Maison du Bonheur. We couldn't fault the beautiful property and surroundings. The pool was perfect for the hot weather we experienced. Cathy and her family were great, generous hosts. Getting a tour of their bee hives was a particular highlight! Overall, would highly recommend"

"We had a very nice time at Anne Marie's place. She was really welcoming and helpful. Checking in and out was very quick and straightforward. She gave us great information about what to see and do on the area too. The location is very good, in a quiet place, but close to supermarkets and a few lakes with bars and restaurants. The accomodation was very clean and good. Breakfast was lovely and had a good array of foods: the traditional items expected for a continental breakfast - cereal, butter, jams, pain au Chocolat, fruits, etc- but also a plate with cold meat/charcuterie and cheese. Overall, really nice. We had a lovely time in the garden using the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. Overall, a very nice stay and very good value for the money we paid. Thank you Anne Marie. We will certainly stay at yours again next time we drive down to Spain."

"Expected more for the high cost. Bed linen inferior and pillows badly stained. Did not enjoy the extended cleanliness tour. Furniture worn. Shower mastic needed replacement. Outside gravel area needed weeding. All-in-all not up to expectations. Owners pleasant but overly intense. Kitchen nice. Garden relatively small. Pool warm but opening/closing pool cover and plastic walls of gazebo as instructed every day was tiresome. Nice seating area behind pool. Jacuzzi very nice. Outside griddle very useful. Shame lovely views restricted by hedges. Awful smell from septic tank (?) on occasions which even meant closing door into house at times. This was the most expensive rental we have ever stayed in having been in many 3/4 bedroom villas with heated pools before in France, Europe and across 4 continents. At around 300 euros a night it should have been better. Sorry we were really disappointed compared to the week before which was half the price and a had a lovely heated pool in a large garden with quality bed linens, furniture and free electric bikes. Sorry Nadine and Jean-Pierre the gite was not for us. "
