"As described this is a cozy little cottage with everything you could need for a comfy stay. Everything is clean and well laid out, the wifi and TV made staying in wonderful and there is so much to see in the area. Ludington, Pentwater, and Manistee are only minutes away as are state parks, lighthouses, wineries, and more. Truly a lovely place to stay. "

"The Motel Bear Lake was all we wanted it to be My sister and I were born in the 50s and vacationed in Northern Michigan during our childhood. We met the owner during our stay and discovered that her desire to restore the motel to it's former 1960s glory is a labor of love based on her childhood memories. That brings a magic to the Motel Bear Lake! The beds were awesome and our check in was seamless with the no front desk and keypad lock. Thank you Motel Bear Lake for a wonderful 3rd annual sister weekend!! "
