"The staff was wonderful and location was great. The bed and couch were not very comfy and the breakfast was timed and very simple. We didn't initially realize that everything was unplugged and we had to turn on the water heater for a warm shower but once identified those were easy enough to manage. Not that it was entirely unexpected, but there is no elevator and we were three flights up so that is something to consider."

She is really nice friendly and gave us information where to go and history about the city and the hotel. Very useful and interesting. If you need anything she’s there to help. River view room is fantastic we also saw fireworks at night. And it’s convenient and walking distance to most of attractions. Highly recommend for this hotel. "

"The Hotel Tolomei was an unforgettable experience. It really was a Palace! When we arrived Danielli (the owner) welcomed us as if we were Family. The rooms were magnificent but welcoming. The frescos on the ceilings were original, the furnishings an eclectic blend and very comfortable. "Residence Leopoldo is close to the tram station (500m) which is a short distance to Santa Maria Novella Station. It is very clean, quiet and comfortable for 2 people. We had a studio apartment with a bed and sofa bed, a small, well equipped kitchen. The bathroom was large with a washing machine and lots of hot water. There is a coffee machine but only 2 free coffee pods. We had to buy coffee from the reception (0.5euros/pod). You can also buy wine at reception for a reasonable price which was...
