"We are a family of four (2 adults and 2 boys ages 15 and 13) and we stayed 3 nights in the Residence Lagorai in early July 2026. We thought the apartment was very nice. Check in went smoothly, it was nice to have a staffed reception. The apartment was comfortable, well-appointed, and well-located to walk into Tesero. There was a nice view from the property (but our room was facing the other way). We absolutely loved Tesero, which was a pleasant surprise since we'd booked this accommodation solely for proximity to the Dolomites. It served as a good base for visiting the Dolomite region and also as an attractive spot in itself with plenty to do and see nearby. Parking at the hotel was free and easy, and we enjoyed the on-site game room and playground. While we had an overall very positive experience, there are a few things that anyone planning to stay there should be aware of. Wifi strength was spotty. Apartment access requires walking up a flight of stairs. There was no AC (but it was thankfully not too hot). Hours for using the pool and sauna were limited to just a few hours per day which hampered our ability to enjoy those amenities. Room is expected to be cleaned at checkout. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there and thought it apartment was more or less as advertised and - perhaps most importantly to us - an excellent value. And again, we simply loved Tesero and would gladly return and stay here again."

"Beautiful location. Apartment was clean and comfortable with great facilities for cooking. Pool was lovely to have and the garden was much bigger than I expected. Great for the children. Cavelese itself is very close by (all up hill) and it is a stunning town. Would highly recommend doing a walking too to really be able to appreciate the history. Only negative is that there is no air con and our apt on the 3rd floor was really hot."

"Great value for money. We checked in late (after midnight) and they were courteous enough to leave the reception open for us, thank you. Matteo was a star, not only did he wait for us after midnight to help our check in, he provided a recommendation for food, and was always available to answer any questions about the local area. Top notch customer service. Fantastico. Location is great, a few local restaurants to pick from, a local bakery, butcher & gelato. Drinking water fountain in the town centre was a nice little perk as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return to the same hotel again."

"Latemar Hotel was amazing, such a beautiful hotel in a very beautiful and scenic valley between the mountains. Gessica was absolutely phenomenal. So helpful with everything we needed, giving advice and helping my partner with food choices (as she's coeliac). I cannot speak high enough about Gessica, but the whole team there are so friendly and willing to help. The hotel suite (royal) was beautiful. The room design and layout was very well put together. A great balcony with a private hot tub...honestly a very beautiful perfect place to end a busy day hiking. There is an amazing looking spa at the hotel and unfortunately we never got to use it. We saw people going on their checkout day also, but due to us having a short stay we wanted to get into the mountains and soaking up the scenery. We'd love to return and use the spa. Sassolungo 10 mile hike is not too far away and absolutely stunning, but to be honest, head in any direction from the hotel and you'll find stunning scenery."
