"The apartment, with it's lovely garden was just a few minutes walk from the top of the St. Just funicular. Very easy to get away from the old town to relax. Philippe, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful. The apartment was very well appointed and comfortable. Be sure to go to Grain des Sucres patisserie nearby, if you stay here! We hope to come back and stay again. Merci beaucoup Philippe!"

"We were returning from skiing and wanted a day to play in Lyon prior to getting on the plane. This was a nice, out of the way place. We went to Lyon and had fun, and were close to the airport when it was time to leave. The house we clean, check in was easy, owner was very helpful. I would stay again!"

"As advertised and as expected the accommodations was in an old French country farmhouse. This was not the Carlton but it was the experience we were looking for. The owner advertised a washing machine but it was not available. Found a couple of cobwebs, but overall we were satisfied."

"We had arrived in Paris after a 10-hour transatlantic flight, taken the TGV to Lyon, and driven our rental car to St. Albans. We planned to stay two nights to recuperate from jet lag. St. Albans is filled with narrow streets that seem to have more traffic than you would expect in a small town. It was very dark when we arrived and Verizon's international plan offered no connectivity. I knew the address of the rental, and I had the key box code. It would not open the key box. I tried...

Fourvière Hôtel Lyon

"The Fourviere Lyon was a total surprise for us. Upon arrival, we found a high quality hotel created from an abandoned convent built in mid 1800's. The structure is built in a square with an enclosed courtyard which offers a peaceful, walkable area for the patrons. Surrounding the hotel are ancient ruins of a Roman arena. Lots of history here! "
