The place of the apartment was well looked after; close by we could go to the sea, swim and have a look around visiting the imposant nature miracles.The garden and the house invited to have a rest on the balcony to have a good glass of wine. Fajal is a very interesting island for visitors to get a feeling for the development of our the way the earth became the green and blue planet what it is today....

"The whole house is spacious, has the best views of the harbor overlooking all of Horta. Its 5 minutes from everything in town. I can't wait to plan next year's vacation staying there again. Marco the co host was absolutely fantastic. And Jorge and Teresa are great at keeping in touch too. Couldn't ask for more gracious and wonderful hosts."

"The House is a good size and very good clean "

"The view of Mount Pico was incredible. The cows, chicken, and other animals was great. But, alot of spider web in the house, the house was dirty, no soap for the showers and hands and the laundry. "

"Casa Santana is relatively recently renovated traditional stone house with beautiful views out over the sea and the island of Sao Jorge and easy access to some lovely walks including one along the coast. We really enjoyed sitting on the covered terrace listening to and watching the birds, lizards and bats and watching sunsets. The acommadation is good with a pleasant lounge, and a basic but satisfactory kitchen. The downstairs bedroom is a bit dark unless you open the door, and would benefit...

"A beautifully decorated place, but lacking in soul and essential comforts. The absence of air conditioning or alternative cooling options made the stay challenging, compounded by poor soundproofing and inadequate odor insulation from the upstairs unit. We could hear every conversation during the upstairs guests' dinner, and the house was permeated with the smell of their cooking for the whole stay. Communication with the host was also severely lacking, with copy-pasted automated messages that...

"I stayed in this apartment with my family of 4. The apartment itself was small but ok. Note that the management keeps the remote control for AC and if you need it, they charge a daily fee of 10EUR per day. The communication with the manager has been very difficult since the beginning. I’ve sent a message a month prior to arrival to confirm there was enough room for the 4 of us. I never got any answers. The day before our arrival, I sent another message that was again unanswered. "Jolie maison familiale avec un jardin dans un petit village à proximité de l'aérodrome. La maison assez rustique est bien équipée et décorée. Il a fait très chaud lors de notre séjour, il n'y a pas la clim, un ventilateur dans la chambre serai un plus appréciable pour mieux dormir."

The owner went out of her way to meet us at our arrival to insure we have no worries finding the place, she is very genuine and the best host we ever encountered. Thank you. ms"

"We stayed one night at Pousada Forte de Horta and absolutely loved it. The hotel is full of character with a unique historical charm — you really feel like you’re stepping into a piece of Azorean history. The location is unbeatable, right inside a fortress overlooking the marina, with a breathtaking view of Pico Island across the water. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly, and the atmosphere peaceful. Wish we had more time here!"
