"Very nice hotel. Only a 5 minute walk to the old town. Plenty of variety of restaurants."

"The hotel is a little dated but in a convenient location across from the beach and about a 20 min walk to the old town. The staff is helpful and friendly. The reason that I rated it so low as my husband and I would wake up with insect bites that we first thought were mosquito bites because he had found a few mosquitoes in the room. After examining the bites we feared it was bed bugs so we stripped the beds down to the mattress and with the flashlights on our phones we discovered tiny bugs crawling. We reported it to reception and they replaced the mattresses but did not acknowledge there were bed bugs. Also when we checked into our room the toilet wasn’t flushing properly and had to replace the tank the next day. The rooms were serviced daily. "

"Roberta at the front desk gave us great service and a great chat about Alghero. Everything was extremely clean and fresh. The Blue bar upstairs had excellent food and drink but they could have used another server. The only fault in cleanliness was a huge pile of cigarettes butts outside the second floor restaurant leading to the patio.A small complaint… for a great stay . Highly recommend."

"The room was excellent, the host (Rafaella?) an absolute star, such a friendly atmosphere. Breakfast on the patio was really good and the breakfast menu has enough options. The only small criticism is the Internet connection, it's either way too slow or breaks down. "

"This home is in a great location - only 10 mins drive to the local shops and the old town of Alghero and lovely beaches. You will need a car to best enjoy the area. The hosts were and are amazing, we had an issue with a flat tyre with our car on arrival and they helped coordinate a local mobile mechanic to come and fix the issue for us within hours. The hosts even came back when the mechanic arrived to the house to ensure everything went smoothly! This support really reduced our stress levels - I cannot thank the hosts enough for this support! Thank you, thank you! Overall, the hosts are very quick to respond and are there to help when needed - they are great communicators and sort out any issues very quickly. The gardens are lovely and there is an outdoor shower that we enjoyed daily. Please note that the bathrooms are quite small - in particular the showers and the ceiling in the bedroom on the top floor has quite a steep incline - this is represented in the photos that have been provided within the listing. Overall, a lovely stay! Thank you."

"There was a loud party with loud music until midnight. Not easy to sleep. A hassle with front desk about payment. We thought we were charged at check in but it seems we were not. All else was great. Amazing property and pool!"
