"Very pleasant stay. Friendly staff and comfortable room. We stayed in room 314 whuch is above the main entrance. Was a bit noisy in the evening between 10-12 due to students but have had worst. Breakfast very nice and good selection. Would defo stay again"

"Wonderful to be able to stay in very comfortable, well maintained and spacious 17th Century accommodation. The Crown Hotel is the hub of the village. My room at the back overlooked the garden and rooftops so noise was minimal. Food was cooked to order, the included breakfast was marvellous with an excellent choice of hot and cold options including plant based ‘milks’. There was a good evening menu with very substantial servings. The only downside was the lack of vegetarian options. All the staff were very polite, friendly and happy in their work."

"Greta location within 20 minutes walk from city centre . breakfast had a good choice of quality food and was all hot . Receptionist very helpful at giving directions to local area. and the view from our room was a added surprise to our lovely big clean and comfortable room "
