"This is a fantastic property in a quiet cul-de-sac 10 minutes drive from Wakefield and about 30 minutes from York or Harrogate. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need for a great stay. Clean and modern inside ample parking and great views."

"We had a fantastic stay in Louise's gorgeous cottage. Beautifully decorated, luxury bedding, comfy beds and just 5 mins from centre of York. Check in was easy and Louise allowed us a later checkout which tied in nicely with our train home. We have all agreed that we would love to come back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cottage to others coming to York."

"Down for weekend. Near city centre just a walk across bridge. Loads of wee extras tea,coffee milk. Only down side lift wasnt working but not sure if this was due to the flooding York had"

"A bit difficult to find because there is no address number on or near the door. Great location in the middle of everything, although a bit noisy into the night because it is in the middle of everthing. No shampoo, conditioner, bath soap provided, but otherwise a really great to stay."

"Beautifully renovated cottage, loved the original features alongside the modern comforts. Very well equipped and the bed is really, really comfortable! Hosts were fantastic to deal with and it was a great location for exploring the area."

"A fabulous property very quirky. Hosts left a fabulous hamper of goodies. Had a lovely Christmas tree & decorations. The only downside was as it was new year & obviously busy none of us had a wink of sleep for 3 nights! The noise of revellers until 4.30am then the beer delivery, the road sweeper at 5am & the bin men but other than that a lovely place"

"Never received an email about check in and i looked in every possible folder of my email. Didn’t realize it until we arrived as we have been busy travelling to many different spots. We were stuck in the driveway trying to get ahold of owner and the company they qgo through for 2.5 hours until we had to give up and get a hotel. My poor elderly mother o the verge of a panic attack. A person needs to be able to get in touch with host for such emergencies."
