Catherine was so friendly & helpful & even booked us dinner at a local restaurant which was delicious & amazing value. If you are after a great value taste of rural French hospitality, the Sandine & Catherine will be hard to beat. "

"A most charming place to stay nestled in the hills of the Massif Central, this was formerly the village school house and retains many original features. Dinner was provided by the hosts and was particularly well received. Breakfast was basic but no less delicious for that."

The restaurant food was very good but our steak order was taken by an unpleasant man. Breakfast was good but with offhand service from a different man. Never felt valued guests. "

"Excellent traditional french logis hotel & restaurant run by the second & third generation of the family who created it from the family farm and full of old farm tools and implements. Very comfortable bed though traditional bolster with huge pillow and bed covers could be replaced. Very good traditional French country restaurant with local specialities and delicious local red wine plus good indoor swimming pool and views of the lovely countryside with sheep in the fields from the window. "This is an amazing find such lovely family owners took great care of us - the rooms perfect and clean. The home cooked food was amazing and service impeccable. Safe parking and so close to the Puy Mary volcano mountain area. Will stay again!"
