"This property WAS NOT what the pictures showed at all. While the beds where comfortable and the room fairly clean (carpet stains, grout stains), the room has not changed since 1980. We enjoyed the marina view."

Staff made verbal arrangements to change to a better room the next day but when we ask the morning staff they said they could not do anything. We ended up without a room at all and had to scramble to find an assessable new hotel for the night in a bust tourist community. "Checked in using expedia. There was poop on the toilet seat. U could see light threw door seems. Asked for a refund as I checked in somewhere else and the manager was unavailable so I got stuck paying for thos dump. Dont do it"

"We got there late at night around 11pm because we were doing a roadtrip coming from afar. Office was closed but staff was inside as expected of a motel there should be a night shift staff assigned. Instead of him welcoming us he just said “Office was closed an hour ago”. So what? You have a motel business even if your guest arrived in the wee hour there’s should always be an available staff to check in unless it was clearly stated in the reservation that there is a time limit for when to check...

"Clean is room and staffs was friendly, I was able to check in early than 4pm and it was very helpful when traveling with young kids. Breakfast was great but was hoping to have more variety on hot food. Pool is dark and small, water is not so clear, and we only swam one time. Walking distance to other attractions and view is great from the patio. Would like to stay next time."

"The pictures advertised on expedia.com are NOTHING like the room checked into. In fact, the 'apartment' of which pictures are rendered, isn't anything like the actual room which is rented. This is a clear cut example of false advertisement. The office staff said as much 'the apartment is unique, and none of the rooms share attributes similar to the pictures advertised'. In FACT, it was later unveiled, that the 'apartment' advertised, was given to the house keeping staff, and not even available...

"Only stayed a couple of days this visit to Seaside but when I return will definitely check back in to the Ebb Tide as everything was as expected. The check-in was smooth and efficient; the room was clean and tidy with plenty of towels and amenities. The bed was firm and comfortable with plenty of soft pillows for a pleasant sleep with everything quiet outside. The view was nice although the window could have used a little windex for a clearer picture otherwise I'd highly recommend this place!"

"Great newer/refreshed hotel for your Seaside visit. One of the most comfortable hotels beds I've slept on in a while. Comfortable rooms, super friendly staff and fantastic location only a block from the beach. Unfortunately the EV chargers were not working but the staff worked their butts off to try to get them going. Highly recommend."
