I was initially dubious at what I would find as it was competitively priced but the Inn, the room and the breakfast were all really nice. Parking is an issue as there is no car park but on street parking was available in a well lit area."

"Cara was very organized and phoned in advance to check the number of beds to be made up for our stay and also sent some details of local pubs and restaurants nearby, so we could arrange an evening meal. The room was much bigger than expected, with a very comfortable king size bed, and a sofa-bed in the room for additional guests. The kitchenette had a small fridge with juice, water and fresh milk, and a choice of cereal was provided. There was tea and coffee as well as a kettle and toaster....

"Lovely little pub B&B. Room was amazing. Very big with separate living room and kitchenette. Staff very friendly and helpful (allowed us an early check in to get ready for a wedding). Breakfast was lovely. Can’t actually fault the place, would definitely use again. "

"From the moment we arrived at the White Cottage we were made to feel warmly welcomed by Donna and Steve who turned out to be excellent hosts. We were shown around the property by Steve and then taken to our room. Our room was clean and comfortable with a large en suite including separate bath and shower. The room had tea and coffee, fresh bottled water and biscuits, plentiful towels and bathroom products. Breakfast was an ample choice of cereals, with fresh fruit, yoghurts and fruit juice...

"I went to book into the hotel and it was closed, dark and empty. I tried to contact them on both numbers provided. Nothing. No answer, no call back. I tried all day and it was so frustrating and worrying as we had no idea where we were going to sleep that night. I left it until 5pm and then found another place to stay. Thought that perhaps something had happened and they'd be back the following day and may offer the two nights from then. Next day arrived and same fiasco. The hotel we had booked...

"Overall we enjoyed our stay but there was a few things that took the edge off a perfect break. The shower in the en-suite bedroom leaked through the kitchen ceiling so we couldn’t use it which meant that nine of us had to use the one other shower! The French door/window in the lounge was difficult to open & close and the rain came in at the bottom right side and the carpet got wet and we couldn’t open the bi fold doors in the dining area. The cutlery wasn’t very clean so we had to wash it all...

"Our stay was amazing. Judith , Julian and family were above and beyond. Our Grandsons had a wonderful time on the farm 🚜 we had a tour, bringing the cows in from the field , to watching them being milked, then to feed two new baby calves , and to end it with a tractor 🚜 ride 😀. The accommodation is very clean, and the boys loved living upside down lol 😆. The countryside is beyond words, stunning . I would recommend this 100% we shall definitely go again. Thankyou"
