"My hubby and I traveled from Chicago for a brief getaway. A little over two hours away from our home in Bronzeville, the cottage was easy to get to and we immediately felt “away.” From the cottage’s porch, we could see Lake Michigan. There is a beach a very short walk away. Check in was easy and the kitchen is well-equipped! There is air conditioning, but we opted to keep the windows open overnight to enjoy the cooling breezes and the cacophony of tree frogs and other night time creatures. Just what we needed and we’ll be back!"
