"a reasonable property that is very well located for all amenities in this lovely town. the couch was a little low to the ground for us as we have problems with our knees ( old age catching up ) and carrying the luggage up the stairs made me breathless ( my fault as I should have checked this before booking ), but the flat was comfortable and we had an excellent time. Many thanks to Victoria for the prompt way she communicated with us when we had a small problem to resolve."

"Lodge was easy to find and access from email instructions. Love the decor/styling. Kitchen was well kitted out and a great shower. Good TV, comfy sofa. Small secure outdoor space was fine for small dog to potter out. Highly recommend for a couple. Very handy for town centre, Alnwick Castle and parkrun Heaters seems to constantly click loudly so options were a disrupted sleep or being a bit cold overnight. Parking would be tricky in peak season but <5mins walk. "

"Flat was in an excellent location for us being just across the road from a lovely dog friendly beach with a cafe that did fabulous breakfasts. We were very happy with our stay and the owner was easy to communicate with. However I will mention that the outside area is very scruffy and bins were overflowing with lots of bottles on the floor. "Lovely, beautiful little old fashioned lodge for self-catering tucked away behind thick gardens abutted to a lovely old building on the outskirts of Alnwick. Its self-catering and had everything we needed, including good TV choice for the evenings and a strong wi-fi (in the lounge but not in kitchen).
