The on-site restaurant’s prices are steep, though the included breakfast was exceptional and a highlight of the stay. The room was clean, but the hot tub was disappointingly dirty and unusable. Would stay again."

"We had a double story room that was very spacious. It is a school in the winter and a hotel in the summer so it is very well equipped and spacious. Our room was clean and roomy and the hotel itself was immaculate. It’s in a great location with lots to do nearby. Staff greeted us upon arrival and when screeching out and were very friendly. "

"Self check-in instructions were communicated in advance and easy to follow. Rooms were basic, but very clean and adequate for our needs. It was nice to have access to the kitchen and laundry. WiFi worked well. There is an easy but somewhat steep hike to a lovely waterfall right behind the property. Our only "complaint" was that the cruise ship port was directly across the street. Instead of being able to listen to sounds of nature like birds and rain, we heard the ship running all night and the captain's announcements in the morning. It's just a minor complaint and the Guesthouse has no control over it, but I feel it's worth mentioning. Obviously it wouldn't be an issue on days when there's no ship in the port."

"2 min drive to bonus supermarket and gas station. Room is clean. Breakfast is included which is really convenient. The only minus point is the shower temperature is constantly swaying between hot and cold."
