What a beautiful place to stay during my travels through Europe. The room was clean and comfortable. The dining experience was amazing as I enjoyed a Bavarian dinner and a wonderful bottle of German Riesling. The Restaurant staff were very attentive and allowed me to enjoy the amazing view of the alps for as long as I needed.

The rooftop bar and sitting area was superb! All staff was very helpful and friendly.

Very nice room, wonderful view, Pleasant and helpful staff (especially Holly and Julian), delicious breakfast. Poor WiFi in our room but good in central areas. A light blanket or throw would be helpful for the warm nights ( instead of the thicker down quilts)

Right in the old center, clean hitel

The hotel was in Old Town Munich. Excellent restaurants steps away. The breakfast was amazing. Loved the bedding and how clean the room was. Absolutely a great choice to stay.

Great Hotel! Amazing staff as they responded to all request quickly. They even help me find a nail salon close by. VIP room upgrade was amazing! Very clean hotel, amazing gym considering the area. Very quiet, close by all shopping and dining in Marienplatz.

Clean room, great historic vibe, classy and fun bar

Great hotel, rooms so nice. Roof top bar was great and view was unbelievable. Service outstanding, didn’t hesitate to hold our bags or accommodate early check-in for tired travelers. We are a family with 3 kids and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Very walkable area.

We stayed with our adult children at the Hotel Obermaier during Octoberfest. It was all that we had hoped for. It is a traditional hotel with a good restaurant attached. It is convenient by Metro to downtown Munich. It is much more reasonably priced than closer-in hotels. Our room and bathroom were comfortable. The breakfast was unbelievably generous and delicious. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Obermaier if we are fortunate enough to return to Munich, particularly during Octoberfest.

Having just arrived from a terrible hotel experience in Paris as part of an extended vacation, checking in to Hotel Metropol was a breath of fresh air. All of the staff was friendly, hospitable, and very helpful but the gentlemen who works the front desk in the afternoon was exceptional!! He provided me with local recommendations of where to go and a map of how to get there, clear and useful instructions for how the hotel works, and his energy and spirit were just so welcoming. Hotel is centrally located to most everything in downtown Munich. The staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is very good. The only complaint is that some rooms will require one to lift suitcases up steps. Will stay here again.

I stayed here for 12 days and had a very good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was great. Whenever I had an issue, it was handled very quickly. The room was comfortable and the hotel was overall clean and pleasant. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Simply perfect. I'm gonna say best value for any hotel. Love the room design themed on a painter. Everything was brand new, super clean and 100% working. Front desk people are funny and delightful. The location is great if you want to explore the old town. The direct neighborhood around the station is a little funky but it's diverse and fun.
