"Had a really nice stay at the hotel for my wifes birthday, the room was lovely, comfortable and well designed. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic, particularly the dinner. Hving stayed in a number of similar hotels I have to say this one was amongst the best and I’d happily reccomend it."

"Don’t think twice … Book here right away. The stairs are a little old, however that is part of the charm. And they offer to carry your bags up. This was by far my favorite place to stay in Scotland. The service was top notch (even in the bar), friendliest staff we have come across, and the room was awesome."

"Lovely property in a historic hotel. The decor was warn (as others have noted), but was charming. We liked the adjacent pub which served dinner until 9 pm. Great location on the main road in Dunkeld with great hikes nearby."

"The room was lovely and generously proportioned and the hotel is in a serene location. Breakfast was excellent. The sofa bed is simple and likely not suitable for an adult. There's a beautiful autumn walk that you can go on beside the Tay. We had a slight issue with the sink not draining but the staff handled the issue well. The pool was lovely for kids."

"What a beautiful small hotel with the most helpful and respectful staff. Traditional lounge with real fire was so nice to come back to on a cold October evening. Fantastic breakfast offering cooked to your exact requirements. The room was very welcoming with lots of small but welcome additions to make your stay more comfortable. Well placed for the town which is just a short walk away."
