"We have been country members of Tain Golf Club for twenty years. If you haven't played Tain, please put it on your next itinerary! We have been traveling in Scotland for many years. 2022 and 2023 was the first time we stayed for three months with NO car! So many places to visit where you can be fine walking from train station to accomodation to golf to market to restaurants. This cottage in Tain was perfect for us."

"Charming house which suited our purposes. Priority for us, was our dog. The fully fenced, mowed, yard that was accessible via gate, and attached to, the adorable front lawn was perfect to let our 10 pound herder run free and chase butterflies. The one minute walk to the quiet rocky beach was also perfect for him to have a good nosey-note they do get muddy, so pack extra dog towels. "Our stay at Darna house was lovely! We definitely got lucky with the Scottish weather which was just a plus!The house was easy to find in a nice quiet location, near enough to local shops, cafes and beaches! The house was well equipped in the kitchen, bathrooms were clean and showers were great and easy to use. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well.Thanks for having us! :)))"
