"Great staff who were attentive and very helpful. Lovely room with comfortable bed, good food to, had a surf and turf which came with a lobster bisque saurce which was exceptional and something I will look for again. A nice touch I thought were the magnetic contactless charging points either side of the bed which were unexpected 10/10 for that."

"Newly refurbished excellent rooms even the single one I had was a reasonable size spotlessly clean with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast very good and the staff were helpful and polite "

"A one night stay for us, before catching an early flight from Southend Airport, lovely attentive staff throughout the hotel. We dined in the restaurant which has great views over the airport, the food was equally great. A veey pleasurable but short stay."

"Have stayed here a few times. The clientele here can be a bit mixed and have seen some interesting characters but the rooms are clean and comfortable and more often or not with a lovely view of the harbour. For the price I can't fault it. If you want something a bit more upmarket you have to pay for it. But for a bed for the night and the location to the port - this place is excellent."
