"After significant research on all of the 4/5 star hotels in Samoa, Taumeasina is by far the best and most luxurious on the island of Upolu. The resort service is best in class and the daily activities are very informative and relevant to the Samoan culture. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, air conditioning works very well, bathrooms are large. The pool area is very nice and the private beach is even better. Breakfast buffet is great and they have local dishes available. Proximity to downtown Apia is 5-7 minutes by car. Very central to the main market and grocery stores. Overall, highly recommend this hotel to everyone."

"This was a beautiful and peaceful property. It’s not spotless like a resort, but it is wonderful and comfortable. The staff is phenomenal and so helpful for all your needs. They called me so many taxis and helped make sure they would come (often calling them again). I stayed in the Fale, and it’s such a cool experience. It’s definitely more like camping, but it’s unique and fun. Make sure to bring an extension cord because the power outlets are on the ceiling in the fales."

"Amazing stay, stunning resort with the most beautiful gardens. Ideal for couples and families. Food at the restaurant was great. Affordable transport to the wharf. Only negative was that wifi is only available at reception and the restaurants. "
