All the rooms were very comfortable- even though it was 33-37 degrees everyday - the house cooled down that sleeping was not a problem. "With just a short walk to town (San Donato), you have fantastic restaurants including La Toppa, bar and small supermarket. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. We really enjoyed dinner at La Toppa, fantastic food and the pizza restaurant in town was excellent too. It is a short drive to other villages, Siena approximately 30 minutes away. Easy access to Florence, Pisa, etc. We enjoyed the solitude, the pool to ourselves, and sitting on our private terrace for coffee or afternoon drinks.
