Cottages in Faroe Islands

"The cottage was amazing. The village and scenery were just beautiful and the grass roof cottages were such a cool experience to stay in. The kitchen was well equipped, the place was very clean and comfy. Wish we could have stayed longer! Only slight downside was we had to bring our own shower products."

If you are taller than 180cm, you probably won’t be able to stand up right in other rooms than the bathrooms. The beds are SO Small, and SO uncomfortable! "The listing indicates the drive time to the airport. Unfortunately, this island, unlike many others in the Faroe Islands, is not connected by tunnel. It requires a ferry ride. When we were informed of this, the first two ferries on our return day were sold out. Given that we had a flight early the next morning, we were not able to stay at the property. Despite the misleading listing, the property owner would not make any concession on the non-refundable rate."
