The property is located centrally and very well connected to main attractions and beaches around Faro. Walking distance to many useful places such as the ferry pick up points, supermarkets, coffe shops and local restaurants. The staff is great, very helpful and friendly, the service offered is better than a normal hotel as they organise events, boat trips and transfers. The only thing we didn't like was the noise overnight. The hostel is actually very quiet but there were people on the road shouting and singing always between 3 to 5 every night. I found this very disturbing.

This hostel has a proper working oven. YAY!! I was able to bake cookies and share with staff. Areas well set up and large - kitchen, eating area, lounge, etc. Staff are very friendly and helpful (even before i gave them cookies). However, lots of stairs which may not be good for elderly or handicapped.

A sparkling and busy hostel in a central location. Easy access to bus station and transport in Faro, central with numerous shops around. Hostel has many guests coming and going all the time and there is a big throughput, got the impression that its normally fully booked. There are many activites and group tours/walks, bar crawls, or common meals available (for a price). Hostel is active on whatsapp group and will post everything that happens all the time. Everything is very convenient and easy. Would not mind staying here again.

Really liked this hostel. The rooms are clean and fairly modern. Big drawer for each person with plenty of room to store your stuff safely within. The toilet/shower facilities are kept very clean and are in good condition - especially the showers. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgable.

Very disappointed with the stay here and the service. I would not recommend this at all as they clearly do not care for their customers. We booked a private room and when we entered it smelled of fresh paint fumes. We asked to switch rooms, to which we were told none available. It was late at night and therefore too late to find alternative accomodations. Front desk directed us to send email to support for a refund as they "could not" process it. Their back end email support was deeply unhelpful and stopped replying although they did acknowledge the room had been recently renovated. Expedia would not do anything to make the situation right either as the hostel refused any refunds.

The staff were really friendly and gave me advice about day trips and help with my boarding passes for my flight. Unfortunately it took me 14hrs to get to Edinburgh on a flight from Faro-Dublin-Edinburgh. I arrived home at 3.30 in the morning. The offer from Ryanair was a 4 euro coupon to be used in the airport only. So, the 4 euro voucher was not available on the flight. But the staff were very accommodating at hostellicious and knowledgeable about the area
