"Love the historic architecture and great interior design. The lower level bar / speakeasy is great. Great vibes, room was clean and well maintained. The amazing art deco lobby is reason enough to stay. I believe the building was renovated in maybe 2016 or so. Some of the amenities are a little worn...like lobby furniture, the ice makers on some of the floors were not working, the exercise room is really small. But the overall vibe and style is great."

"My only real complaint was that when I walked in, I was the only person there to check in, I looked at my watch for no particular reason just to see what time it was, and I waited six minutes for somebody to finally come to the desk I enjoyed the managers reception, I mostly missed breakfast so that didn’t really count. The room was very clean and I like the amenities, the carpet could use a little cleaning or actually replacement but that’s an expensive venture I realize."

"My wife Lina and I stayed at the Loews Kansas City Hotel during our trip to catch a Royals game at Kauffman Stadium, and it was a flawless experience. The location is absolutely great, serving as the perfect home base for exploring the city, including our night out at the Green Lady Lounge. Every aspect of the hospitality was top-notch. The staff was extremely helpful from the moment we arrived, making check-in effortless. Our room was extremely clean, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The on-site dining and drinks were a major highlight. The sports bar area is fantastic, featuring exposed silver ventilation pipes and vibrant blue ambient lighting that gives it a lively, modern energy—making it an ideal spot to grab a drink, socialize, and watch a game. Just steps away, the lobby bar serves as a stunning architectural centerpiece, featuring towering, illuminated circular liquor displays that create a sophisticated, luxurious environment. Relaxing on the comfortable leather sofas there with a glass of Malbec was the absolute perfect way to wind down. The food was excellent across the board. I cannot find a single thing wrong with this hotel. It is definitely one of the best franchise hotels I have ever stayed at, and we will absolutely be going back."
