"Fantastic. Great start from checkin staff. The two girls (sacha and ?) were very welcoming and answered all questions and gave the kids ice cream vouchers which was awesome surprise for them. Breakfast was great and every single staff member was friendly and welcoming. Will stay again for longer next time and use the spa and pool next time."

"New Place isn’t a grand hotel like you might think from viewing the main building. But it’s very good. Staff are great, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good, dinner is very good. Grounds are very pleasant."

"A short overnight stay. Welcome was as expected. Car park was full so we had to pay to park on the road which was annoying. Room was clean and well equipped. Shower did not drain properly so you had to wash quickly! Some aspects of the repairs/maintenance were tired and not what you would expect from a 4* stay - but perhaps standards are lower these days?!"
