There are lots of activities and places to visit within a short distance. The New River/Trail, Buffalo Mtn, Mt. Airy, NC home to Mayberry and the Blue Ridge Parkway are just a few. This was our first time visiting the aera and loved the location for checking out the mountains. we went to VA, NC and WV . the house or cabin was the best can't say enough good things about it for a country getaway.

The cottage was perfect just like the pictures reflected. It was very clean and had supplies just in case you were to have forgot something. 100 percent recommend.
