I asked about breakfast and was led to believe that was doubtful and being able to invite a guest not allowed! "Positive: Fresh newly renovated rooms. Comfortable beds. Easy access in a nice lush neighbourhood. Host was helpful and took Good care of us and cleaned very well. They had a friendly dog.
We got to use the terrace in the garden.

"This is one of our favorite half-way stops on our way down to Cape Town. Wildernis is a quant little town with world-class restaurants and The Wildernis Hotel is such a great place to stay. Lovely pool, padel, tennis and mini-golf facilities. Excellent breakfasts! And very, very friendly staff."

"What a great little Guest House. Upon arrival we were greeted joyfully by the owner who walked us through and showed us around, she could not have been more kind and generous. Our room was perfect and sadly it was only for a one night stay. Breakfast was cooked to order which included plenty of sides such as yogurt, fresh fruit, toast, lots of different teas, coffee, cheeses, croissants etc. I had a very pleasant conversation with the owner over breakfast. Truly an enjoyable experience. We definitely recommend staying here if you are ever in George."
