"Absolutely not a 4-star hotel in terms of service (sometimes friendly, sometimes literally atrocious), breakfast quality (staff are kind but food quality is like at a hostel - the breads are all stale, like hard as a rock, and there is very little selection), and overall hotel condition (things are falling apart, eg our door had to be yanked open and shut, and throughout the hotel everything is old, paint is peeling, etc etc). The location is good but there are many other hotels in the area. Was really surprising. "

"Spacious comfortable room. Particularly liked the bathtub and kettle. Good WiFi. The two swimming pools were a big advantage. The indoor heated pool with outdoor seating was lovely.Breakfast and meals were good. Coffee shop/restaurant an advantage after arriving late. Staff were helpful and pleasant."

"Beautiful building, friendly staff, an excellent onsite restaurant where we had dinner and my mom had food delivered to her room twice. We had two rooms. Both were comfortable and well equipped. Good WiFi. I stayed in an upstairs room 3 with my son and daughter. The beds were comfortable but the there is no closet, which was an inconvenience as we weee there for an event had needed to hang up our dresses. Breakfast is very good and staff is very helpful."
