"Everything was great: easy check-in (a little early, in fact, which was greatly appreciated after a long flight), a spacious and clean room, HUGE and comfy bed, surprisingly large bathroom suite with proper doors for bathroom privacy as well as separate shower and large bathtub, a kettle with coffee and tea (that was restocked daily without asking, thank you!). This was also the most quiet hotel room I have ever been in; not sure if I got lucky with no obnoxious neighbors, or if it was the soundproofing -- but it was fabulous. The hotel is in a great location, close to public transportation and food options (the fast casual Italian place next door was delicious) and very easy to get to lots of attractions without a car. Felt very safe walking around at any time. Highly recommended!"

"We had a very nice stay to site see before flying out. The location was excellent. It is just a block from the main train station. The beds were on the firm side…so personal preference not to my taste. Would prefer a top sheet rather than a heavy comforter. To their credit they delivered extra pillows almost immediately upon request. Room was very quiet. Bathroom was well appointed with eco friendly soap, shampoo, etc. The shower was extremely slippery but spacious. Elevators (4 of them) were very speedy. Staff was friendly and helpful. We noticed afternoons are very busy. They have computers for easy check in but the two people we noticed trying to use them had difficulty and ended up in line. Not sure why. The other advantage to staying there is it is close to several points of interest and the Hop on Hop off bus stop is just across the street. The train is also a 3 hour ride from Kiel if cruising (2 trains daily are direct) FEX train is 1/2 hour to the airport cost is under €10 for 2 adults. "

"The hotel is very centrally located near the Brandenburg gate. Despite the busy location, the atmosphere in the hotel was quiet and serene. Our deluxe room was large and very comfortable. Service in the hotel was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the outstanding breakfast buffet."
