"It was a good place to stay you didn't have to leave. The food and drinks were good. The staff we came in contact with were very nice and helpful. I gave it a 4 because the room was a little worn. Large scratches on the furniture and the walls had some damages. Look ng past that and it was great. A 4.5"

"I am the traveler that will check in late have a snack, fall asleep, wake up the next morning, shower and leave. Excellent hotel for such a stay given the price. Very competitive for the market place. Also, for those bikers out there they allow overnight bike parking under the well lit awning outside of the main entrance. That is a plus!"

"We had a fabulous week here and enjoyed every minute. The second day there the shower handle broke and the owner responded to my text quickly and a plumber was there the next morning and fixed it right away. Communication was wonderful and the owner was so nice. The large yard and deck on the lake was our favorite. We saw many heron's, including one that caught a fish and ate it in the yard in front of us! We also saw a bald eagle steal a fish from a heron and there was a mink also! We enjoyed the fire pit, the long dock, and the kids loved the kayaks, paddle boards and canoe's. The lake at that north end has a wonderful sandy bottom and is waist height so far out so we really enjoyed the swimming. I was able to dock our pontoon boat there easily. Our daughter loved the hammock as well. Despite there being no air conditioning, and the days in the high 80's during our whole stay, the evening air cooled things off quickly and we were very comfortable. Thank you for sharing your home with us! I've had many people ask for the link after hearing our experience here."
