The two sisters who own the property put so much love and care into this home. The real star is Helena, she also cares for the property. Helena was there after a tough travel schedule upon arrival, checked in throughout the stay, recommended great places and events taking place and during checkout to make sure we were happy with our stay. "We had a fantastic stay at Pike Cliffs. The location was excellent, allowing us to easily get to Lajes for whale watching and the whaling museum, Madelena for the nearby vineyards (and best grocery store), and, of course to Mt. Pico, which my oldest daughter climbed. The terrain is unique and varied across the island, unlike anything we’d ever seen before. The view from Pike Cliffs was stunning, we never tired of looking over the fields and cows to the ocean. Check out the photos and you will see what I mean. Highly recommend the coastal park leading to Baia das Canas which is near to the house and C Bistro in Sao Roque which was the best restaurant we tried (especially if you like cats!) Francisco was very responsive and with three bedrooms and two full baths we had plenty of room so everyone had their own space. Highly recommend. "

"This property is in a spectacular location overlooking the magnificent Atlantic Ocean. You have to coordinate the resorts ATV transportation but it's we'll with the effort. This is a perfect place to escape so stay at least a few days if not more. You should stop at the grocery store and be fully stocked for meals although you're greeted with homemade bread, local cheese and the owners produced wine. "
