Studio Red Beach, fantastic gallery bedroom

The gallery-studio Red Beach is one of 4 residential units in the beautifully renovated "The Artist House”.
Manolis Pachakis has lovingly transformed this 118-year-old mansion in Pitsidia into a very special place. As soon as you enter the impressive hallway, you can feel the magic of this wonderful old stone building.
Almost all the furniture was made by Manolis himself from sustainable materials such as old doors, windows, wooden barrels or similar.
Red Beach studio has a living/dining area, a very well-equipped kitchenette, a bathroom and a fascinating sleeping gallery. Furthermore, there are two large terraces, one in front and the other behind the house. These can be used by all the guests of the 3 studios + 1 flat.

The Artist House is located in the centre of Pitsidia, a small, quiet village on the south coast of Crete. Pitsidia is so centrally located that you don't have far to go for anything, be it the sea, the mountains, gorges, caves, valleys, excavations or towns. Everyone can organise their holiday individually here and enjoy it wonderfully.
In Pitsidia, everything is within walking distance. For example, you can have a great breakfast in the "Onira" and end the evening with a good glass of wine in one of the many delicious restaurants.

It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the Komos beach, and only five minutes by car.

There are music events on the village square twice a week. These evenings have a great atmosphere.

There are easy as well as adventurous hiking possibilities in the surrounding area.....

There are many sights to explore: Palace of Phaistos, Gortyna and Agia Triada archaeological sites, Moni Odigitrias monastery and much more.

Beautiful beaches: Komos (5 minutes by car), Matala, Red Beach, Kalamaki, Agio Farago, Lentas,Tripiti, Preveli, etc.

The Natural History Museum in Vori can also be reached quickly.
