It is a basic hotel but clean and tidy. Nice hosts - unfortunately pool was out of action awaiting repairs but beach 10 mins walk down the road so not a major issue

Room was small but workable. Nice balcony to relax on not much of a view . Shower is very small a thin person would barely fit but the water was hot. Came with a small.fridge freezer and worked great once plugged in. A/C was available but they removed the remote thinking I would not need it so room was stuffy and opening the bacony door helped a bit until the mosquitoes made their way in so that was annoying. Breakfast was very good no complaints. About a 10 minute walk into town so not a big deal and flat. I would suggest checking that the A/C remote is in your room before front desk closes. I would have rated the place higher if not for this. Again simple clean small room but served the purpose. Bed was a bit on the hard side.

Beautiful hotel

We had a very nice stay at this beautiful hotel. We had a very nice and clean room, the breakfast is very good, the swimming pool is very nice and the location is great, the owners are very friendly and helpful. We would like to come back to this hotel again.

Took a chance on high ratings on booking website and anticipated basic accommodation, it’s true for “basic value” somehow disappointed us. Lots of cats in the premises, good for cats lovers and bad for people allergic to cats.

Simpelt og rigtigt græsk hotel med utroligt venligt tysk værtspar. Servicen stopper ikke. Der er morgenmad med i prisen og AC kan lejes for 5Euro pr døgn (anbefales) fordi der er myg.

schöne Unterkunft-ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen

Gut angekommen, gute, ruhige Lage am Ortsrand, nette Gastgeber und gutes Frühstück. Ausgangspunkt für tolle Ausflüge, hilfreiche Unterstützung. Strand besser nicht im Ort nutzen - es gibt viele schönere rundherum.

Très bien pour une nuit

Très bon accueil des propriétaires, chaleureux et attentionnés. Le petit-déjeuner est inclus et varié. Très bien situé, à pied de la plage et du centre de Matala. Piscine agréable. Chambre rudimentaire mais ok pour une nuit.

Old school bohemian charm in Matala

A very comfortable, slightly quirky, original and welcoming stay at an independent hotel with some original charm! It’s not super slick but it is cute and comfy and charming in an old school hippy Matala style and I liked it.

L'unico neo è che non ci sono sufficienti posti auto per tutti, ma non è difficile trovare parcheggio, gratuito, nelle vicinanze. Bastava dirlo prima.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Ein deutsches Paar führt das Hotel, die beiden sind sehr herzlich und nett. Zu Fuß ist man in 5 Minuten direkt mitten in Matala oder am Strand! Echt toll!

Small but comfortable room with attached balcony/patio a short walk to main beach and plaza. Friendly, efficient staff. Plenty of shaded seating by the pool. Breakfast is adequate but underwhelming. Parking is on site. Smoking is evidently allowed in all rooms.

charmant petit hotel familial

à 300m de la plage de Matala, cet hotel de 18 chambres est tenu par un couple d'allemand et leur assistante anglaise. des gens adorables! ambiance typique de la Crète. L'essentiel est là pour passer un bon séjour : piscine, climatisation, frigo, balcon, grand lit et propreté de l'établissement. nous ne sommes que dans un 2 étoiles et pourtant c'est agréable. je recommande pour les gens aimant la simplicité et la gentillesse.

Siamo una coppia, abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti all'hotel neos. L'hotel è molto semplice, non è per persone troppo esogenti sicuramente ma per poche notti di passaggio può andare. Colazione buona e abbondante ma alle 10 tolgono tutto anche stai ancora mangiando!
