The house was just the right size for our extended family vacation (10 people + dog). The game and movie room offered fun for all ages, pool was very enjoyable and the yard was really great size for outdoor games. Asheville is close by and easy to get to offering so many great things to see and do.

This is the second year we spent Thanksgiving at the property. It is great for both kids and adults with so much to keep everyone occupied and happy while on the property. Plus, it is an easy drive to downtown Asheville and the surrounding areas.

We stayed here for a week with 8 adults. Bathrooms and kitchen have everything you need. We enjoyed the pool and the theater room in the basement. The property manager was very responsive and checked regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. The location is in a neighborhood but very private. Close to grocery stores and the fun of Asheville. Everyone agreed that we'd come back!

We had a great week at this house with family. The pool was perfect for entertaining the kids as well as the games in the basement. A short 20 minute drive to the Biltmore and plenty of parking. Firefly catching at dusk was another popular activity! The management was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely come back.

You can rest and truly relax here! Be sure to stock up on everything you need—breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and even movie night essentials—because most major stores and attractions are about 20 minutes away. If you're someone who's always on the go or feeling tired, this is the perfect chance to unwind and recharge. Our kids and dog had an amazing time, and we made it an opportunity for them to dream big. It was a special experience for all of us. The house itself is huge and fully equipped, so you really don't have to leave for anything. Highly recommend it!

We stayed at this house for about ten days with my parents, two little kids and two dogs and had a great stay! The kids and dogs spent a ton of time in the pool and the yard - it's extremely private and a great area for kids to play sports and the dogs to run around. The house itself fit all of us very comfortably and was very nice - the kids loved the game room downstairs. Easy drive to Asheville and Black Mountain for restaurants, etc, and enjoyed the Whistle Hop brewery that was just a few minutes away. Thanks for a great stay, Mighty Tree!

We travelled to Ashville for a wedding and came a few days early to relax with family who were travelling from all parts of the country. The home was the right size for our entire family and had all the amenities to make our stay enjoyable. The host was very responsive to any questions or concerns that we raised. Property manager worked hard to get pool fixed for our trip but repair people left concrete pieces in pool that clouded the water and they forgot to chemicals in hot tub. Location was convenient to Asheville and private. House had plenty of space. One bed frame was broken, upstairs bathroom has a huge window in front of bathtub that looks out driveway.

Private house with lots of room for a crowd. I booked this house for just my husband and myself because we wanted a secluded location. The house would be wonderful for multiple families with plenty of beds and bathrooms! The hot tub was nice and I'm sure the pool is amazing during the summer months. This home is beautiful! It is updated and clean, perfect for a large family or group of friends. It is only a short drive to Asheville, close to beautiful hiking and waterfalls, and the in-home amenities (game room, home theater, fire pit and hot tub) made the nights we stayed home as fun as the nights we went out. Plus, it's pet friendly! The property manager was immediately responsive and helpful when we had questions about the electronic lock and operating the gas fireplace in the living room. I would (and have!) recommended this to friends. I would absolutely stay again. 10/10!

This beautiful house is perfect for a family vacation in the Carolina mountains. It is a short drive (about 25 minutes) into Asheville and well located for great outdoor activities but also is secluded in the woods, providing a feeling of complete detachment from the external world. Great facilities- large swimming pool for laps, arcade games and corn hole for the kids (and adults who think they’re kids) and very comfortable bedrooms for sleeping. Well appointed kitchen with more than adequate supplies of cooking and dining equipment and layout that provides privacy when desired. We really liked the house and outdoor recommend it highly, particularly for families with kids who don’t need to be watched when near the swimming pool. Only issue was it’s cellular service. While the Wi-Fi worked very well, it was hard to establish and maintain regular phone service on the property. Otherwise everything about the house was great.

Our family of 8 (6 middle-aged adults and 2 octogenarians) stayed at the house for a week. On the plus side the house was bright and spacious in a lovely setting with beautiful grounds. However, the house had many problems - some of them very serious such as: a windowless "bedroom", a broken bed, a broken dining room bench unsafe to sit on, no screens on windows to open for fresh air, water in swimming pool 1.5 feet below normal, hot tub unusable for several days, indoor bedroom doors unable to close, pool table unusable, indoor peeling paint and cobwebs. There was a general sense of neglect and irresponsibility regarding the maintenance of the house. Additionally, several times during our stay service people showed up unannounced, often at inconvenient times.
