We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property and cannot wait to visit again! The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub, feeding the animals, and relaxing in the quiet. Frank is an absolute GEM of a human being. Truly, I’ve never met a nicer host.

We planned to stay here while we visited Asheville for a long weekend - and we ended up wishing we’d taken a few more days off just to stay at the accommodation! Beautiful views, a communicative host, and the koi pond made this one a great escape.

My daughter and me had a great time during our stay there. My daughter especially enjoyed feeding the animals in the barn every day. The house is clean and with all we needs. The host is very nice to walk through the house and surrounding when we checked in. The location is also very convenient and near to a lot of tourist attractions, restaurants and grocery stores. We really love it!

The property was absolutely beautiful. The flowering plants were in full bloom and the setting was gorgeous. We felt like we had escaped to a quaint, mountain retreat. The owners were knowledgeable and provided great recommendations for places to visit and eat. A couple of highlights included the fresh eggs and a chance to see the horses, chickens, and goats. We will definitely be back!

It was a great little house to stay in and overall private . They provide fresh eggs from their chickens and they were great! We loved the animals in the back yard as well . It’s only 15 mins from downtown Asheville and the nearby restaurants and brewery’s are great !

The round house was a perfect escape for our 30 year anniversary. The owner has thought of everything and created a beautiful space both inside and outside. Love the grounds with decades of quality landscaping and the privacy it afforded. So close to Asheville and yet remote and private. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful setting and a shorter drive to the city than the map suggests. Loved the animals and the outdoor spaces. All the amenities were perfect for a quiet couples getaway. We loved the hot tub and highly recommend booking a massage. Immaculate grocery store nearby for supplies. We loved every minute of our stay. Can't wait to come back and explore Asheville and the surrounding area more from this sweet little home away from home.

Staying at Frank's property was an absolute treat. Upon arrival he was very welcoming and told us all we needed to know about the location and gave us invaluable suggestions on places to go, etc. The property was beautiful, well-kept, and relaxing - we could not have asked for more. This is definitely a fantastic spot for animal lovers. The critters at their hobby farm were a delight to interact with and the eggs were delicious if you decide to stay in for breakfast! I would highly recommend this stay and would definitely book again.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. Looking for mostly a place to hang out while we experienced Asheville, we were amazed at our time at the house. From staring at the stars in the hot tub each night to a massage inside our house one afternoon, our whole trip was so great. We are already planning the next trip and will definitely be staying at the Cove at Fairview, if at all possible. They also have other rentals on the property that house more people so we can take the whole family.

The home was very nice and easy to find. Keeps you close to Asheville without being in the city. The property was beautiful and the animals were fun to watch. Frank was awesome upon arrival. He greeted us outside and filled us in on all the things we needed to know and made some great food recommendations. The stay was great. We will be back.

Frank has such a beautiful property! His hard work and dedication to perfection can be seen throughout this property. The landscaping is gorgeous!! The property itself is very pretty and clean! It smelled so good when we arrived. We enjoyed 6 nights here starting on July 3, 2024. The fresh eggs were a plus to an already lovely stay. There are grocery stores and multiple delicious restaurants nearby. Ask Frank for his recommendations! We used this property as a point to get in and around Asheville. It is close to everything. We went to the Biltmore and did the Lake Lure tour. Both highly recommended. The only regret is that we didn't stay longer! Highly recommended property!

Everything is just as pictured -- but it's really something how easy is it to walk to the nearby fence and feed some carrots to the horses, donkeys and goats. Also, really enjoyed meeting Frank and his written dining and activity recommendations for the nearby area were top-notch. It's really just about 20 min to get to Asheville, but you may find yourself sticking closer to this charming vacation home and the grounds with multiple chair swings and koi ponds. Every night ended in our hot tub under the stars -- no regrets!

Wow, what an amazing property. So much better than getting a hotel room. The communication with Frank prior to arrival was great for accurate directions and any questions we might have. Then he meets you at check in to go over property and give recommendations. And he has some great advice! The roundette is perfectly appointed. We used the grill for steaks and cooked the fresh eggs that were given to us in the morning and had all the needed utensils. Hot tub on deck was amazing and very private even though there are other buildings on the property. But the property is the real star of the show here. Although you are only minutes from Asheville, you feel like you are tucked away on a small mountain farm. With the animals, koi pond, and lush landscaping you can tell a lot of hard work went in to making this place great. Thank you Frank and staff for a wonderful weekend, we will book again.

What can I say? Staying with the family at My Roundette was a real treat. Before we even arrived, Frank's communication was frequent and thorough. Upon arriving, Frank greeted us and gave us a walkthrough of the property. My Roundette was more than enough for our little family of 3, but could have easily accommodated a 4th person or child. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast each day, and the farm fresh eggs were delightful! The animals and fish were also a treat for our kiddo, who took to acting like a veritable Dr. Dolittle and really enjoyed petting and feeding the donkeys, goats, and horses. She also enjoyed the chickens around the property and getting to feed the koi in the two on-site ponds. The Cove's location is quite close to several grocery stores, which made preparing picnics for hiking a cinch. There are also a couple of breweries and restaurants nearby, so you really have everything you need to make your stay at the Cove a true retreat. I'll also note that being so close to the Parkway and the city also made our stay feel like we were far enough away to experience the farm's tranquil setting, but close enough to take advantage of all the great restaurants and outdoor experiences that Asheville has to offer. Thanks so much, Dixons! We'll be back again for sure :D

My wife and I spent a couple nights in the round house and it was a treat! There were farm fresh eggs in the refrigerator waiting for us. They had coffee and creamer ready to go! They had a nugget/pellet ice maker...seriously....who doesn't love pellet ice?! The hot tub was ready to go. The house looks out over a fenced field where we were able to speak with, and sing to, several horses, goats, chickens, donkeys, etc. Either my nose doesn't work well or the animal smell was undetectable (I think it was the latter, because the only thing we could smell were the mountains). The location was family friendly, accessible, clean, and quiet (exactly what we were looking for). You can still see and feel the aftermath of Hurricane Helene on the property and around the entire area. We've got family from Clyde, NC (where we took our kiddo and pup while staying in the round house), and if you're thinking about going back to the area for vacation, they could certainly use the influx of tourism dollars. We will absolutely be back (our daughter was so disappointed that she couldn't stay with us that we had to promise her we'd take her back another time). The lone thing that I'd say could improve the stay, though I'm really having to stretch here: it would be nice if they allowed small dogs (we've got a well-behaved 11lb Cheagle that was dying to meet the farm animals), but I also completely understand why they don't. Thanks again! Hopefully, we'll see you soon!
