We stayed in the "newer" detached section of the inn behind the main inn which itself was nice and clean and pretty much like any other hotel. To get to the new section of the inn from the old historic inn you need to walk through a covered walkway ( or drive around back) which could use some clean- up or landscaping or something - there is a view of the restraunt employee smoking area, for instance, that...

"This cabin needs a LOT of care. It was OK for our purposes, because we just needed a place to sleep more than anything, but if we were actually looking to "vacation" or "rest and relax" it left a lot to be desired--especially regarding upkeep and how it was furnished 1. Our sheets had HOLES in them! 2. No toiletries, other than body wash in the bathroom 3. No bath mat 4. Insufficient towels 5. Not enough dishes or mugs 6. No sponge for washing dishes, or anything to clean and wipe down...

"The biggest concern I had with my overnight stay was the general maintenance of the property itself. A short, three step staircase needed to access the floor level I was assigned to was in disrepair, sagging on the first step and the carpet was loose on the front edge of each step. The steps were also of unequal height. The shower in the room had poor calking in the joints and corners. Overall the room was clean, however, an overbearing use of insense permeated the property, including the room...

"This space provided such a beautiful, serene experience. Could not have asked for anything more. They had everything we needed from fire starter to bottled water. There are so many delicate touches that made the space that much more comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, the heated floors were a dream and the outdoor space was perfect. Beyond grateful for this weekend full of relaxation and peace."
