"Property was incredible. Just incredible. You could hear a pin drop at night. You definitely need 4WD haha. It snowed like crazy during our stay but they got the driveway plowed for us. We had zero complaints. Well actually, it could use a new grill. The knobs don’t function as they should and we couldn’t use it. No biggie. We used the oven/stovetop. We had such a great time doing nothing. Plan ahead and make sure you have all the food and water you will need. The weather is no joke up there. The staff was also incredible. I already miss being there."

"Stayed here for one evening on our cross country trip. Man who checked us in was very friendly and even came to our room to help with the cable when we could not get into turn on. Pet friendly (we had our dog) . Even for a pet friendly room it was clean and didn’t have a “pet” smell to it. "

"This was our second time staying at the lodge. The place is clean amd comfortable. The room has everything you need if youre an out of towner, the humidifier was a life saver for the dry colorado air. Our bartenders Alex and another guy, I can't remember his name, wer super nice and made our first night there awesome, after a 10 hour drive. There was an unusual amount of snowfall the morning we were leaving and we were not prepared for it, but the front desk guy, Grant, was super helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend the lodge, you wont be disappointed! "

"After seeing all the 10/10 reviews on VRBO, I had to say I was skeptical. But after arriving at this cabin, I realized why all the reviews were so good. We have stayed at a lot of properties over the last 8-10 years, and this is by far the best stocked cabin we have ever stayed in. It had everything that we needed, and was labeled very well to be able to find things without looking all day. The view of the surrounding mountains is amazing, and the cabin itself is truly a beautiful home that we have enjoyed thoroughly over the last several days. We saw moose almost every day when we would go to town, and the owners were the best I have ever experienced at communicating with us to answer questions or make sure the cabin was running perfectly (even on the weekend!). It sounds like a sales pitch, but this cabin and it's owners truly stand out as one of the best experiences we have had with VRBO ever. Our family is very thankful that we were able to stay here, and I look forward to returning in the summer or fall to see the area again. 10/10 all day long!!"
