Very pleasant situation at Kames Bay, further from the town, but handy for a dip in the sea. 38 steps up a spiral staircase to the flat, so travel light!, but a stunning view over the Bay to the Arran mountains. "Spent a lovely few days at the Hobbit Cottage. It has a dog friendly garden and it is a short walk to Kames Bay. You can access the Cathedral of the Isles from the end of the cul-de-sac which takes less than 5 minutes. The cottage is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. June, our host, was very attentive and you only had to ask if you needed anything."

"Avril was a lovely host, very chatty and friendly and knew a lot about the area and it's history. We were attending a wedding at the Seamill Hydro which is only a couple of houses along from the B&B, super handy! Our room was clean and comfortable. The house has a lot of character and original features. The view from our room was amazing, looking right out to the sea and Arran. You can walk through the back garden out onto a path along the sea front which also leads down to the beach, spent the morning after breakfast walking along it and enjoying the great weather! "

"Great location in Largs, easy walk to the supermarket, shops, food eateries and the fresh fishmongers was right on the same street! Quick to the promenade for a lovely sea view and the ferry to cumbrae.Apartment was spacious and had everything you needed in the kitchen! Comfy bed and good shower in the bathroom. Thanks for a great stay!"
