"Great location. Very clean. Very helpful and responsive host. Clear and reasonable instructions. Grocery store and other amenities in walking distance. We used this modern house as a base from which to travel to Mt. Cook (one hour drive away), explore Ahuriri River and hike up Mt. John. Added bonus: brilliant moon rise one night, seeing 4 moons of Jupiter through binoculars at Lake Tekapo another night, watching Paradise shelducks and scaups in nearby pond."

"Everything needed was provided and the house was very clean. The carport behind the unit was nice to have. The house was very difficult to find in the dark with small numbers we only found the next morning. The common area was oversized (could hold 20 people easily) compared to the bedrooms, whicheach barely fit a bed. The beds were comfortable, but the house did not feel warm or welcoming. Lake Tekapo seems to be getting overly touristy and has lost its quant feel. This house fits the new...

"Property was easy to find. In a great location. Home was well laid out and spacious. My only put down was there was no drier, so trying to get clothes dried for 5 people on one airing rack was difficult."

"Rooms look very beautiful. Private bathroom is spacious and clean. Staff behaved well. Only downside all the rooms do not have heating systems. There is only one heat pump located beside the kitchen. Overall good."
