A 6:15 a.m. departure from Post Mills Airport, VT in your hot air balloon gets this spectacular view of Vermont to the left of the river, and New Hampshire to the right. This perspective is looking essentially northwards. Farm lands and forest nestled along what was in colonial times a mighty river of commerce and transportation. When Vermont separated from NH, and to protect those assets, NH insisted the border between NH and VT would be the high water mark on the westerly side of the river.

"Our family had such a wonderful stay at the cabin. It's labeled as "rustic" but did not feel rustic on the inside. It has every amenity you need, a full kitchen, the bedrooms were wonderful, there were games, puzzles, paddleboards and kayaks. Our kids were busy the whole time, fishing, swimming, and paddling around the beautiful pond, and roasting smores and hot dogs by the firepit. "The container home was very unique and fun to stay in. We enjoyed a quick overnight away from kids and dogs. Close to local places to eat and if the weather had been nicer, we'd hope to hike nearby as well. Definitely would return again in warmer weather!"
