Burke Lake has a multitude of activities and is a gentle surprise when you begin to walk along the lake's edge and see how easy, and how quickly, you can travel along the lake. The lake itself can be a mirror to the sky and the trails are quite clear. For an opportunity to get away from the city, it's well worth the trip. Locals to Fairfax County can get in free of charge while those outside of the county must pay a fee. #getoutdoors #localparks #stateparks
