This cozy garden-level unit is located in a geodesic dome home on a private 1-acre lot in a quiet neighborhood. Explore the local activities by day and relax on the comfortable 2-person sofa with a cup of cocoa by night!

Start your morning with your favorite Keurig beverage on the lazy boy rocker and wait for your group to wake up. The central living space of this apartment features ample lighting, a Toyostove heater (for a touch of extra warmth), pretty wood cabinets, cedar closet, and a large picture window facing the garden and yard of giant spruce trees. Head out the door and explore one of the many scenic walking trails surrounding the property when you're not out exploring downtown Fairbanks.

Make memories with your travel companions and prepare a new recipe for dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. Enjoy your culinary creations at the 4-person dining table and discuss which sites you want to see tomorrow.

Finish off the night by watching your favorite movie on the flat-screen cable TV in the living room. If you're staying in the winter, be sure to check the sky for the gorgeous Aurora Borealis before going to bed!

The bedroom of the property has a comfortable queen mattress and plenty of dresser space to store your outfits. Additional sleeping is available for 2 on the full sleeper sofa in the living room, and an additional twin-sized rollaway bed is available upon advance request.

This apartment is nestled in the hills just north of the city and has the perfect location to explore all of the top sites around Fairbanks! The secluded neighborhood is ideal for a leisurely walk, with access to nearby ski trails for great summer hiking. If you forgot something at home, there are 3 nearby malls all within 10 minutes of the property.

Throw on your hiking shoes and drive 11 minutes to the Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge. This former dairy farm is now a wildlife sanctuary, and offers several elevated trails through boreal forest, and stunning views of this scenic area! The Chena Lakes area is another hot spot for exploration located just 35 minutes away from the house.

Drive 1 hour to enjoy the Chena Hot Springs and soak away your worries! This outdoor resort is a one of a kind destination with geothermally heated greenhouses, an outdoor hot springs rock lake, and an unbelievable place to view the Aurora Borealis!

On the nights that you're not eating at the apartment, drive 10 minutes to downtown Fairbanks to enjoy one of the local eateries. Some of the top local favorites are The Little Owl Café (offering gluten-free cuisine) and the Cookie Jar for Brunch, as well as The Pump House, The Lemon Grass, or The Turtle Club for any special occasions!

Fantastic home away from home!!!

Very Nice place to stay! Convenient location in a country setting. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Jocelyn was very friendly and helpful. She even gave us clean towels and fresh linens after a couple of days. The apartment, kitchen, and bathroom was super clean. We had a wonderful time and will definitely try and stay at this place the next time we visit the Fairbanks area. All of the great reviews are well deserved.

Spotlessly clean, quiet, yet centrally located.

Everything was so clean. The fridge, oven, microwave and whole kitchen was squeaky clean. The whole place was so nice. Great attention to detail in every aspect. The beds were so comfortable. With the ability to have everything while being tucked in the woods, yet close to downtown and shopping was amazing. Dome Haven is the best place in the Fairbanks area. Worth coming back to stay again.

Pleasant Stay

We stayed at Dome Haven for an extended amount of time because we were in the area on a work assignment. We enjoy our stay at the apartment that is nestled in a grove of beautiful trees . The grove of trees provided us a great opportunity to watch the seasons change in Fairbanks. Beautiful in all seasons. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The apartment is clean and served our needs well. The apartment provided a cozy place to spend our time. Jocelyn was a great hostess and was very willing to share her knowledge of Fairbanks. If we are ever in the area we would certainly stay here again.

Perfection! Exceptional property at a bargain price!

We had a great experience over the 4 nights we stayed here. Our party was one adult and two teens. The pull-out couch was actually comfortable and the cot offered was memory foam and very comfortable as well. Full kitchen with a complete array of cookware. It was quiet, comfortable, and close to everywhere we needed to go. The owner checked in with us a few times by text to make sure we had everything we needed. Given this property is part of her home, it was the right touch so we didn’t feel smothered. Everything was great. We will definitely be back if ever we’re back in town. Thank you!

Everything You Need and More!

The apartment has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Fairbanks. Jocelyn is the Hostess with the Mostest. There is a book with local attractions and maps. The location is absolutely perfect...about 15 minutes to the airport and 5 minutes from every type of store you need. The property is set back from the main drag, so is very quiet. You have privacy without having to be out in the middle of nowhere. We highly recommend staying here and hope that we will be able to come back soon!

Perfect for our situation

Dome Haven was an amazing place to stay! We stayed with 3 adults and 1 infant. There were great accommodations for all of us! It was great to have a kitchen and a place we could set up camp. What a perfect place!! It was just what we needed, quiet, comfortable, clean, peaceful, and cozy. Would highly recommend Dome Haven to anyone wishing the perfect wind down place after a busy day out exploring or visiting. Very Good

This was our first trip to Alaska and we chose a wonderful place to stay. The washroom was neat and clean and the entire house smelled really good. Had enought space to park atleast 4-5 cars. The place had automatic ligts at the entrance and electronic locks for the doors. You don’t have to carry the keys with you. The landlady welcomed us and showed a great hospitality. Would definately recommend to my friends.

Great place!

The apartment was perfect for our needs. Dome Haven was very cozy and comfortable for our stay. The place was very clean, completely private, and very quite. We took advantage of the great restaurants so we did not cook much while there, but the apartment was equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen. Linen and towels provided and the queen size bed was very comfortable. There was an additional heater in the apartment but we found the place was warm and cozy that we rarely used it. The apartment is in a great location, close to shopping, restaurants and the downtown area. Also easy to get to many attractions. We enjoyed our stay!!!
