The Hubbardton Battle was the only Revolutionary War battle fought on Vermont soil. This is where, on July 7, 1777, Vermont, Massachusetts and New Hampshire troops ended the British pursuit. There is a small museum and a half mile walking trail around the field with signs telling of the history of the battle. Gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. Every year, over the July 4th weekend, there is a reenactment held here, where thousands of people gather to relive the battle.

"This home was a perfect getaway for my family during April. Well located—near lots of restaurants and a short drive to hikes and local farms—and a relaxing place to land at the end of the day. We had plenty of room for our family of five, the beds were comfortable, and we had access to everything we needed, including sticks to roast marshmallows! "This is a neat, small house, that while a bit dated in decor, was very comfortable and clean for an overnight reunion of "senior" friends from high school. It provided us with the space to sit and reminisce and catch up on each other's lives. There was a nice deck overlooking a small picturesque stream, a large, comfortable living room and an adequate kitchen that met our needs.
