"Vi åt en femrättersmeny på hotellets restaurang som inte riktigt leverade. Det var ett slutet sällskap i rummet intill och vi förstår att personalen hade fullt upp. Men det märktes och middagen tog alldeles för lång tid med tanke på priset."

"Really nice hotel on the waterfront. Fantastic views from the restaurant. Really helpful staff (excepting grumpy barman who was playing to type!). Great breakfast. Roomsa bit spartan but clean with good showers. Gardens I’m sure would be lovely in the spring and summer."

"Lots of positive things. Breakfast was great, we got upgraded to a room with ocean view which made for beautiful scenery, the staff was helpful and friendly. The room was cozy and had all the things we needed. Our only concern was the cleanliness of the garden. The day before the hotel had hosted a wedding and we found numerous cigarette buds and used napkins around the garden. Fully aware it is a significant task to clean the whole garden but would have expected the hotel and staff would be capable of handling this type of events and the cleaning afterwards."

"Room was great, tea and coffee available in hallway. Self check-in in and out via phone at entrance. No physical staff available. Easy access and close to harbour and centre for lovely walks."

"For what you pay, I found this to be exceptional. It's close to town and the seafront, its quiet and the beds are very comfortable. I used the kitchen for my food to heat up and eat downstairs and walk around the delightful garden. Super hot shower, clean towels. I'm really not sure what the negative reviews are about. I've travelled a huge amount and this is fantastic for what you pay. Maybe people need to set their expectation on value and outcome."
