"This review is split into 2 parts.. we shall start with the positives. Food here was lovely and the waiting staff were helpful and responsive even with our very limited German. The lake was beautiful although often overcrowded in the afternoon with inflatables near the jetty. If you go earlier in the day it’s beautiful and tranquil. The view across the lake is lovely. "The customer service at this hotel was terrible! To simplify to a couple words "They didn't give a s***". 1. There is a boat that goes from mainland to the island where the hotel is. The boat does not run if there are thunderstorms. No one from the hotel notified us about this and told us that the boat is NOT running now and we can not get to the hotel tonight. We were lucky enough to walk down to the dock and the boat was thankfully still running. BUT if the boat had not been we would've had...

"Simple and elegant! If you’re looking for something with a quaint and quiet vibe, this place is perfect. We slept well, breakfast selection was great and we had made to order eggs. We enjoyed the outdoor terrace, the kids played with the toys/games available (soccer, basketball, giant connect 4 and the trampoline). We loved our stay!"

"Staff was not helpful at all (uncaring, formal, bare necessities). Breakfast buffet was good but again customer service was lacking. Room okay. Bed okay. Shower (tiny) wasn’t working. Wouldn’t stay again. Don’t recommend."
