"I booked this place for my mother over the course of one week. During my mother’s stay, Marc and his family showed my mother and I so much hospitality and kindness, and treated us like family. I made the booking a month in advance. It said contact the property to make arrangements for check-in using info on the confirmation. Only a telephone number was provided. Why no email? I called long distance several times and left detailed messages re arrival time. No confirmation or any contact from the...

"The property is located in a quiet street close to cafes, brasseries, small shops and supermarket. Only a few blocks from Lumiere Musee and metro station which was perfect to be at interesting attractions in a few minutes. This is a small studio with everything needed for my full week at Lyon. The communication with concierge was easy and fast. There were two people to assist and always quick to get back with answers and very efficient. I would recommended to anyone looking for a place well...

"Die Ausstattung ist minimalistisch: nur zwei Wassergläser, keine Tassen, keine Weingläser, kein Korkenzieher ... Lediglich ein Stuhl - einen zweiten, leicht beschädigten haben wir im Hof gefunden. TV-hat nicht funktioniert. Es fehlt eine Gebrauchsanweisung - z.B. für Zugang zum Wifi. Das einzige Fenster ist die Eingangstür zu einem engen, dunklen Hinterhof, in dem sich eine Rattenfalle befindet. Man kann nachts nicht lüften."

"An excellent suite for guests altho only one toilet to share and one shower plus hand sprayer at tub. Great access to public transportation. Pretty good boulangerie/patisseries nearby. Not a good neighborhood for bistros but wonderful Montplaisir neighborhood a 15 minute walk away, with outdoor market Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Be sure to get entry instructions well before you arrive as there is no one at the apt building to meet you. Make sure you can phone the property manager to get help....

"This unit is in an excellent location, very compact - conveniently above a popular patisserie and next to a very friendly pub. It was an easy walking distance to the train and metro. It was good for our needs and inexpensive. Communication, however, was very limited and we had several frantic phone calls before we could access the flat and then more frantic phone calls for the Wifi. "

"If I could give ZERO starsI would. I did not stay because there was no property at the address provided. The trash filled alley at the address that was finally provided was nowhere close to the area on the listing. The host was not responsive through the VRBO platform or the invalid phone number provided. VRBO was not helpful...it took 2 days and NINE hours of phone calls total over 2 days to get them to finally honor their "guarantee" and find us someplace to sleep. And then it was for one...
