"We enjoy staying at the PLH, it is in a great location, convenient, & generally a good friendly atmosphere. The front desk & admin staff are very professional making it easy to deal with. However, the restaurant & bar service is terrible! It was a similar story for breakfast or nighttime at the bar. Very slow, taking 1/2 plus to get a drink, forgetting orders etc'. There seemed to be plenty of staff wondering around but there wasn't any organisation, or a lack of direction?? Def' not run off...

"You definitely get what you pay for. It is basic budget accommodation at a budget price but as we were only spending the night and out during the day it was adequate. Staff are always busy but friendly and accommodating. The shower pressure is a problem as it is very low but do still work. Sheets were clean and towels are changed daily. There is a communal kitchen for tea, coffee and breakfast cereal for guests to use."

"This is an old hotel updated. The room was adequate and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The bistro was fabulous!"
